Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the state’s relationship with the People’s Republic of China to enhance its economic prospects.
Governor Aiyedatiwa made this declaration while welcoming Deputy Mayor Sun Deshi of the Linyi Municipal People’s Government of Shandong City, China, and his team at the Governor’s Office in Akure. Highlighting the mutual benefits for both Nigeria and China, he pointed out that Ondo State is rich in natural and human resources.
The governor advocated for increased exchange of business ideas, especially in technology, education, and agriculture, to help Nigeria address its current challenges. He assured the Chinese delegation of the state’s full support and confirmed the continuation of the working agreement initiated by the late Oluwarotimi Akeredolu with Linyi for the operation of the Ondo-Linyi Industry Park in Ore, Odigbo Local Council.
Governor Aiyedatiwa also emphasized his administration’s commitment to making the state more attractive and conducive for business investment.
Deputy Mayor Sun Deshi expressed China’s interest in collaborating with Ondo State to expand the already established companies, highlighting China’s expertise in technology, agriculture, and construction.
