Food Security: FG Launches National Construction and Household Support Programme

President Bola Tinubu has approved the immediate implementation of the National Construction and Household Support Programme. This initiative aims to boost agricultural productivity, strengthen the economy, and provide urgent economic relief for Nigerians. The program will cover all geopolitical zones, with key projects including the Sokoto-Badagry Highway, Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, Trans-Saharan Highway, and several railway projects. The program also includes significant financial support for states and the Federal Capital Territory, focusing on transportation, food distribution, and economic upliftment.
