Tropical General Investments (TGI), through its foundation TGI Cares, has partnered with the Cosmopolitan Women’s Club (CWC) to tackle hunger and promote entrepreneurship.
During the investiture ceremony of Dame Marie Fatayi-Williams as the new President of CWC on April 28, 2024, at the Metropolitan Club, Victoria Island, Lagos, Rafiat Gawat, Head of Corporate Communication at TGI Group, reaffirmed the organization’s dedication to ending hunger and empowering communities. She announced: “As part of our support for CWC’s impactful work, we are pleased to commit to a monthly donation of food items to their food bank project through our TGI Cares Foundation. This initiative aligns with our Foundation’s goals and CWC’s humanitarian mission.”
Gawat also highlighted TGI Group’s core business values: “Food is central to our portfolio, and through TGI Cares, we strive to address both existential and situational hunger while fostering empowerment.”
She showcased TGI’s global reach and extensive product line, including Big Bull Rice, Terra Seasoning Cubes, and Golden Terra Soya Oil.
