Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, initiated the commencement of construction for a $50 million soya bean oil refining plant in the Igabi Local Government area of the state.
During the groundbreaking ceremony, Governor Sani emphasized that the plant, expected to produce 500,000 litres per day, will play a pivotal role in Kaduna and Nigeria’s economic growth by generating numerous direct and indirect employment opportunities across the production chain.
He highlighted the infusion of direct foreign investment from Sunagrow International, which will not only bring technological advancements in soya bean extraction and refining but also foster local expertise in the sector.
Governor Sani expressed gratitude to Sunagrow International Oil Ltd. for their substantial investment and encouraged them to engage in community development initiatives. He also invited other investors to explore the promising investment landscape in Kaduna State, assuring them of robust support and conducive policies.
