During the discussion, we outlined our vision to develop the Sujimoto Rice Farm Estate, beginning with 30,000 hectares and expanding it to 1 million hectares by 2030.
His Excellency praised the fertile land of Plateau State as a divine gift perfectly suited for agricultural endeavors, reinforcing our determination to make a positive impact in the region.
In attendance were the Deputy Governor, Josephine Chundung Piyo, Chief of Staff Mr. Jerry Satmak, and Dr. Susan Bentu, the MD of the Agricultural Service and Training Centre (ASTC).
Our ambitious project entails constructing a rice farm spanning 30,000 hectares, accompanied by a rice mill boasting a production capacity of approximately 100 tonnes per hour, operational 24/7 for 330 days annually, processing around 800,000 tonnes of rice yearly.
The Sujimoto Farm Estate will incorporate advanced farming techniques, alongside housing, farm hospitals, hotels, and markets, fostering agro-tourism, job creation, and affordable housing in Plateau State.
The Governor commended our expertise in real estate development nationwide, encouraging us to bring our capabilities to Jos and expressing eagerness for the project to commence, emphasizing its significance for the people of Plateau.”
